A retired suburban New York police officer and his two teenage daughters were found dead at their home Saturday afternoon in what police are calling “an unfathomable tragedy.”
Police responded about 3:50 p.m. to a report of “a suspicious incident” at the residence in the Westchester County village of Harrison, about 20 miles northeast of Manhattan, Harrison Police Chief Anthony Marraccini said in a videotaped interview at the scene, posted on The Journal News (http://lohud.us/1Ls7H8O ).
