Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) will undergo eye surgery on Wednesday, his second since he was injured while exercising in early January.
“This is a necessary step to assist in recovering full vision in his right eye,” Reid’s spokesperson Kristen Orthman said Monday. “His recovery will require him to miss the rest of the week but he is not expected to miss any more time in the office beyond that.”
