A Minnesota man is in jail on $1 million bail after allegedly biting off his girlfriend’s ear and then beheading her cat.
Michael Trudeau, 51, was arrested Sunday, after police in Chaska responded to a domestic abuse charge at an apartment complex, CBS Minnesota reports.

He was previously sentenced to two years probation in 2012 for assaulting his wife in their home and pleaded guilty to felony domestic assault by strangulation.
He also received 30 days in jail in 2006 after pleading guilty to killing a puppy, according to the website.
