NJ Police Officer Pressured Woman To Have Sex To Avoid Arrest: Lawsuit

A New Jersey police officer told a woman that he could handle her legal troubles “in an adult manner” that would spare her from arrest, according to a lawsuit.

Shakera Brown claims Bridgeton Police officer Braheme Days forced her to have sex on multiple occasions to avoid an arrest for alleged shoplifting, according to the Daily Journal.

Reid then stepped out of his car with his hands raised. The officers opened fire, killing Reid.

The Cumberland County Prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation, according to the South Jersey Times. County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said a handgun belonging to the driver was found by police, according to NBC New York.
