MELBOURNE, Australia — Top-seeded Novak Djokovic won his Open era-record fifth Australian Open title Sunday night, beating sixth-seeded Andy Murray, 7-6 (5), 6-7 (4), 6-3, 6-0, in the final.

It is the second major title that Djokovic has won with Boris Becker as his coach. Becker, a six-time Grand Slam champion, won twice in Melbourne as a player, in 1991 and 1996.
