Police Search For Man Suspected Of Killing Wife, 4 Others

LAGRANGE, Ga. (AP) — Officials expanded their search Monday for a 26-year-old Georgia man facing charges in the deaths of five people, including his wife and other family members, inside their suburban home several days before authorities discovered the bodies.

Troup County Sheriff James Woodruff said investigators suspect the victims had been dead for three days when deputies were dispatched to the home late Saturday. A worried employer had called to report one of the victims had been missing from work.

Thomas Lee lived at the home with the rest of the family, the sheriff said, and no prior domestic problems had been reported there. Woodruff said he’s not aware of the suspect having a prior criminal record.
