Dr. Mo Ibrahim writes:

We know that corruption is bad for business. Corruption adds significant costs, undermines competition, and negatively affects sustainable and human development. Anonymous companies are the “getaway vehicle” for corruption. They appear as a common thread in cases of crime, corruption, and schemes to defraud investors. Ethical and effective businesses do not require anonymous companies to operate and succeed, yet such businesses may suffer the consequences of their use by business partners, or be targeted by patent trolls hiding behind them.

“Some people say that consumers are the ultimate green washers, consumers say that they will spend more money for environmentally friendly products, but actual data suggests that may not be the case,” Cramer said.

Cramer said consumers are starting to consider what they need, where to get it, what they pay for it before investing in products.

Aron Cramer, president and CEO of BSR, talked to HuffPost Live about social responsibility.

Adam Grant describes how the showrunner of ‘The Shield’ stopped male writers from talking over their female counterparts.

“I do think it’s fair to say Muslims have a responsibility to reform the culture,” Zakaria said.
