The Beygency is going to be mad. Beck took home the Album of the Year award at the Grammys on Sunday night for “Morning Phase.” He beat Beyoncé’s “Beyonce,” Sam Smith’s “In the Lonely Hour,” Ed Sheeran’s “X” and Pharrell Williams’ “Girl” for the honor.
“Morning Phase” is the 12th studio album from Beck. It also won Best Rock Album and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. (The album’s lead single, “Blue Moon,” was also nominated for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance, but did not win.)
