The New York Times reported Tuesday night that the all-but-certain candidate will kick off his campaign April 7, a date that falls at the beginning of the second quarter and would give Paul almost the entire three months to raise money.
According to unnamed associates in the piece, Paul will likely announce his decision from Kentucky before embarking on a swing through the early primary states of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina.
