Taiwan’s Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) confirmed that the flight lost contact while over the Nangang district of Taipei.
Shortly before 11 a.m. local time, the New Taipei City Fire Department received reports that the light civil aircraft may have hit the Nanhu Bridge which spans the Keelong River, before crashing into the water.
