It’s unclear how long the procedure will keep McAuliffe in the hospital, but he’s expected to be “back in action” after two to three days of recovery time.
McAuliffe, who was injured while he delivered his State of the Commonwealth address last week, was in Africa on vacation with his family over the holidays.
