A windward Oahu elementary school is closed because strong winds blew off a portion of the cafeteria’s roof.

The gusty winds also disrupted other area schools. Mulcahy says after-school activities were cancelled Monday at Pope Elementary and Waimanalo Elementary and Intermediate. Both schools are in session Tuesday.
