Joining Arianna Huffington at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg discussed why she thinks a sense of optimism is central to reaching the solutions the world needs.
“There’s so many real challenges in the world,” said Sandberg. “Jobs challenges, connectivity challenges, challenges for democracy. And I think optimism matters, because unless we’re optimistic, we give up. The challenges are real — there are real challenges all over the world — but the opportunities have never been better.”
