Conan O’Brien took an unexpected jab at Bill Cosby on Thursday night’s episode of “Conan.” While addressing the New England Patriots’ unauthorized use of deflated footballs during Sunday night’s championship game — in what is now being referred to as Deflategate — the host began to list other (fictional) ways the Patriots have cheated in the past. The examples began in territory related to a deflated football — widening goal posts, putting magnets in opposing teams helmets — but ended up in a more serious place when O’Brien referenced the recent sexual assault allegations made against Cosby.
