LOS ANGELES (AP) — A man shot and wounded a nurse Monday in the mental health unit at a hospital in Los Angeles County before he was arrested, authorities said.
The male nurse was shot in the leg around 12:10 p.m. in the mental health urgent care facility at Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital in unincorporated Willowbrook, county sheriff’s officials said.

Messages left for the hospital and for Exodus Recovery Inc., the firm that operates the mental health facility, were not immediately returned.
