Nas Explains How Police Misconduct Exposes America’s Weakness To The World

The reactions following last year’s non-indictments of police Officers Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri and Daniel Pantaleo in Staten Island, New York prompted a wave of protests condemning police violence and racial injustice. However, for veteran hip hop emcee Nas, the controversial result from both cases were anything but surprising.

The 41-year-old rapper shared his thoughts on the deaths of those killed by police in the February issue of GQ magazine, where he explained his perception of the world’s view of America’s justice system.
