Scott Walker Campaign Fundraising Off Obama Comments

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) castigated the press this weekend for fixating on issues that were irrelevant to most Americans. “I would defy you to come to Wisconsin. You could ask 100 people, and not one of them would say that this is a significant issue,” he said, attempting to make a point by not answering questions about President Barack Obama’s faith, his love of America, and evolution.

“Now is the time to stand up against the publicity hounds and the journalistic pack, and help Governor Walker fight back,” Walker’s campaign wrote in the email, asking supporters for contributions. “Your support will show the clueless and mindless journalistic herd that you know what matters most and that it is not the pointless minutiae that they are pushing.”
