Team behind ‘Fault in Our Stars’ reunites for next John Green adaptation

And now, the writing duo and Temple Hill have signed on to Paramount’s adaptation of Green’s first novel, “Looking for Alaska.”

Neustadter and Weber will write the screenplay for the film, which centers on a teen named Miles who goes to boarding school for his junior year. There, he meets a enigmatic student named Alaska and begins to fall for her.

Temple Hill, along with producing Green’s “The Fault in Our Stars” and “Paper Towns,” also produced James Dashner’s “The Maze Runner” and its upcoming sequel, “The Scorch Trials,” and the latest Nicholas Sparks adaptation, “The Longest Ride,” which comes to theaters April 10.
