For years, public figures have been perfecting the art of denial. From politicians to celebrities to athletes, every scandal is met with a press conference and a stern refusal of guilt, which, is turn, often met with derision and mockery.
It’s not going away any time soon, either, with New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady issuing their own denials last week in light of the burgeoning #DeflateGate scandal.
