Photographer David LaFevor, an Assistant Professor of Latin American History and Digital Humanities at the University of Texas at Arlington, is working on an ongoing project on Latin America and the American South.
LaFevor’s project features images taken in Cuba between 2006 and 2014. The photographs, which range from portraiture to street photography, also form part of LaFevor’s current traveling exhibition and lecture series, “Cuba: Histories of the Present.”
